The world's largest single Micro LED display screen by application area, independently developed and manufactured by Wuxi Lijingwei, has been officially put into service at the dispatch command center of China Energy Investment Corporation.
This ultra-large Micro LED display serves the collaborative dispatching information system project of the group, also known as the Cornerstone Project. The lobby on the first floor is equipped with P-series Micro LED screens, while two P-series Micro LED displays are installed in the meeting rooms on the east and west sides of the second floor. Covering a total area of square meters, it ranks as the world's largest single Micro LED display project in terms of applied area.
Founded in Liangxi District last year, Wuxi Lijingwei built an industrial base capable of mass-producing ultra-small chip Micro LED displays with massive transfer technology. The base officially went into operation within months, setting an industry record for the shortest construction cycle from establishment to production launch. Shortly afterwards, the enterprise secured a major order for the giant Micro LED display of the energy group's command center.
The team overcame multiple technical hurdles including pilot-to-mass production conversion and yield improvement. The whole production and installation work was accomplished in merely months.
Micro LED is a cutting-edge display technology that miniaturizes LED chips and arranges them into matrix arrays on a single chip. It boasts superior brightness, dynamic range and color gamut compared with OLED. It also features faster refresh rate, wider viewing angle, lower power consumption and longer service life.
