Do you still remember the popular check-in spot at the Radio and Television Building? During the National Day celebration of the People's Republic of China, this giant screen made its debut along Shennan Avenue. It quickly became a viral check-in site for Shenzhen citizens to take photos and celebrate the National Day during its display period.

Recently, backed by the national "Hundred Cities & Thousand Screens" policy jointly issued by six central ministries, Shenzhen Media Group has launched another grand project. Bay Area Window, Asia’s largest ultra-high-definition LED giant screen, officially went into operation today. Covering the original glass curtain wall of the building, this landmark LED screen is named "Bay Area Window". Liu Zhangbiao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Editor-in-Chief of Shenzhen Radio, Film and Television Group, stated that the launch of Bay Area Window marks a brand-new exploration of diversified business forms for the group. Taking this as a new starting point, it will further expand integrated media development and gradually build a national landmark urban information release platform.

"The official launch of the outdoor Bay Area Window will serve as an important showcase for Shenzhen to build a model of urban civilization. It aims to forge a new Bay Area landmark that gathers massive traffic and spreads positive energy, consolidate the main position of cultural publicity and communication, and enhance the city’s influence. Taking the screen lighting ceremony as an opportunity, we will steadily advance in-depth integrated media development, strengthen mainstream public opinion, broaden the reach of mainstream influence, ensure the Party’s voice spreads wider, farther and deeper, and boost positive energy and uphold the main theme."

Outdoor large screens are nothing new in first-tier cities, yet Bay Area Window stands out uniquely among numerous urban screens.

Boasting enormous size, the giant screen supports K-level resolution and naked-eye 3D visual effects. Empowered by cutting-edge technology, it delivers ultra-clear images and gorgeous colors, elevating the competition of outdoor display screens to an entirely new level. It offers unlimited creative possibilities for planners and builds a brand-new competition arena for major brands.
