10 Troubleshooting Methods for LED Display Screens

1. Display inactive, green light of sending card flashes

Causes
  1. No power supply to the screen body
  2. Network cable loose connection
  3. No power or insufficient voltage for receiving card
  4. Damaged sending card
  5. Connection failure or faults of intermediate signal transmission devices (function card, fiber transceiver box)
Solutions
  1. Verify normal power supply of the screen
  2. Reconnect the network cable firmly
  3. Ensure DC power output meets standard voltage
  4. Replace the sending card
  5. Check or replace faulty function card and fiber transceiver box

2. Display inactive, green light of sending card off

Causes
  1. Loose DVI/HDMI cable connection
  2. Incorrect graphics card or extended display mode settings
  3. Large screen power disabled in control software
  4. Improperly inserted or defective sending card
Solutions
  1. Inspect DVI cable connectors
  2. Reset display mode parameters
  3. Enable large screen power in software
  4. Reinsert or replace the sending card

3. Prompt: Large screen system not found on startup

Causes
  1. Disconnected serial/USB cable and sending card
  2. Damaged PC COM or USB port
  3. Defective serial/USB cable
  4. Broken sending card
  5. Uninstalled USB driver
Solutions
  1. Reconnect serial cable tightly
  2. Try another computer device
  3. Replace faulty serial cable
  4. Change the sending card
  5. Update software or install USB driver separately

4. Horizontal strip blank or color distortion at panel height

Causes
  1. Poor contact or broken flat cable/DVI cable (Submarine series)
  2. Abnormal output of front panel or input of rear panel at joints
Solutions
  1. Reinsert or replace flat cables
  2. Locate faulty display module for maintenance and replacement

5. Individual modules fail to light up

Causes
  1. Power supply protection activation or damage
  2. Loose AC power cable connection
Solutions
  1. Test and confirm stable power output
  2. Reconnect AC power cables securely

6. Entire cabinet no display

Causes
  1. Disconnected power supply cable
  2. Network signal transmission failure
  3. Damaged receiving card
  4. Misinserted HUB board
Solutions
  1. Check power cable connection
  2. Confirm and replace defective network cable
  3. Install new receiving card
  4. Reinstall HUB board in correct position

7. Full screen pixel distortion and image jitter

Causes
  1. Incorrect driver program
  2. Excessively long or low-quality network cable
  3. Faulty sending card
Solutions
  1. Reload receiving card configuration files
  2. Shorten or replace network cables
  3. Replace the damaged sending card

8. Identical content displayed on all screen units

Cause
Screen connection configuration file not transmitted
Solution
Resend screen connection files; plug PC network cable into the indicator-side output port of the sending card during transmission

9. Low brightness and blurry screen image

Causes
  1. Program error of sending card
  2. Incorrect function card parameters
Solutions
  1. Restore and save default settings of sending card
  2. Adjust minimum screen monitoring brightness to qualified level

10. Screen flickering and ghosting image

Causes
  1. Faulty communication cable between computer and screen
  2. Poor DVI cable connection between multimedia card and sending card
  3. Defective sending card
Solutions
  1. Reinsert or change communication cables
  2. Reconnect and fasten DVI cable
  3. Replace the faulty sending card
